Selected by a small group of producers and actors, this award is intended to .. yadda yadda.
This award is given out to the script with the most LIGHTS in any given period. Note that LIGHTS will constantly be monitoring for fraudulent accounts and vote rigging, so the number of LIGHTS for any script may fluctuate greatly at any time. While we will do our best, we cannot guarantee that all fraudulent voting will be uncovered.
This award is given out to the script with the most social mentions on Facebook, Twitter, and Reddit via our website. We will use popular software to track the social exposure of each page. (The exact software will not be indicated to help avoid manipulation of results.)
No single script may receive more than two individual awards in a given period. In the event that a script does receive more than two individual awards, the author will be presented with the option of which awards they wish to claim, at which point the next placed finisher will receive the remaining award(s).

What is script coverage, and why should I have it?

what it is...
should have it because...
gives good feedback
is taken into account during the awards selection process for editor's choice and professional's choice awards
top reviewed scripts are placed under the highlighted "best reviewed" category on the homepage
users can filter or sort by the best reviewed scripts

QUESTIONS
  • What do ratings do? Do they just move things to the top eventually, and perhaps go into our determination for Editors' choice? Or is there an award for that too?
    • Do ratings reset each period as well, or do they stay constant?
  • Is there a limit on how many times one script can win a single award? For instance, could one script be given the "Fan's Choice" award for 10 consecutive periods? (Might dissuade people from entering their script.)
    • If so, could they win a different award in another period?
